A Girl & her Wedding Dress :: Central Florida Wedding Photographer
April 28th, 2012So, I haven’t had a chance to post any of OUR wedding pictures yet, but I did want to post a few lovelies from this past week. Brett & I had dinner with my parents, and aside from their backyard being lovely and covered in trees, the sun always sets perfectly and burning red through the trees. My mom, Brett, & I all saw the sun and knew we wanted to go out back and take some photos (mostly me) haha. This was one of Brett’s first missions as my assistant. I must admit, He’s perfect for the job! I’ve always wanted a portable ladder! And he is much more fun than a big heavy piece of metal. So he put me up on his shoulders to hang the dress, and we had a blast! I even shot a little video. Not because I’m THAT into my dress. But because I’m terrible at video-ing (better term?), and need the practice. Plus the light was just so awesome!! Anyways, here’s some shots for you to enjoy!

The New Guy :: Central Florida Photographer
April 26th, 2012On March 3, 2012 I married the most wonderful man….ever. I want you all to meet him and welcome him to Danielle Nichol Photography!…Because let’s face it, this is what he got himself into ;]/ I’m so thrilled to have someone so business minded (Brett owns his own business in Merritt Island, FL) to be by my side. What a blessing he is to me.
So anywho, one of my dear friends & sweet 2nd shooter, and owner of LePastiche –floral and hair accessories— took these photos of us for my site! So sweet :] So I thought I’d make a blog post telling you a bit about him!

Brooke&Josiah :: St. Augustine Wedding Photographer
April 22nd, 2012Brooke & Josiah are especially close to my heart. I swear they have been dating forever. Okay, maybe not forever. But a really long time! Their story began in high school, and I cannot even express the love all of their friends and family have for them. These two are just gems—Josiah always filling a room with comedy, and Brooke standing nearby grinning quietly. Ah I’m smiling right now as I write this because they are a perfect match. So strong in each other’s weaknesses and some of the most thoughtful people I know. I could go on and on, but I’ll let you just take a look at the images. I posted way too many…so I apologize in advance! haha…

New Look :: Central Florida Wedding Photographer
March 31st, 2012Hi everyone!!
This has been a while coming…I’ve been dreaming a bit as far as how to change the look of my business to be more me— to be romantical, with a little bit of vintage, and a dab of fun!.
I think I’ve finally gotten there!! I’ve been sketching ideas for a while now. And you’ll get to see some of where my mind has been. I knew I wanted a hand drawn logo. So that, my friends, is my OWN handwriting! all of the flowers were digitally drawn by me—based on sketches—and then sent right to my website!! How cool is technology?! Anywhoo, I think I’m really digging it and I hope you are too! And not to mention I am incredibly excited for some new paper products by 9th Letter Press in the near future!!! oh yeah check them out!
In addition— I chopped my hair off! a good 9 inches 
And you’ll see a before and after shot below as well! I was tired of people guessing my age at a consistent 16yrs or 18yrs…I’m nearing 23 and as a professional I want to look like one! Although I am thankful to have a youthful appearance and persona! haha
But enough about that! I drew a winner of our NotWedding drawing for one lucky bride&groom to receive a free Trash the Dress or Day After Session!! The lucky couple is Stephanie & David!! So thrilled to be able to do this for them And Brett & I have been cooking up some hot ideas!! Let’s just say…we’re on the lookout for a great pastry, cupcake, and cake designer/baker! OH YEAH.
So here is all the I have above mentioned!! And—part 3 of The NotWedding is coming up!!–but It’s Saturday and need to clean my office up a bit before the husband arrives home

The NotWedding 2012 pt.1 :: Orlando Wedding Photographer

I was lucky enough to be one of the 3 photographers shooting The NotWedding Orlando. This event is basically a wedding on steroids! I’m talking fabulous floral designers—they will blow your socks off—, incredible makeup artist & fashion designers, accessory designer , videographer, etc. etc.! Tiffany + Kyle Reception :: Orlando Wedding Photographer
February 11th, 2012Tiffany + Kyle were married in JAMAICA! Oh yaaa! Sadly, most of their friends and family could not make it all the way there, so they decided to have a reception back in Orlando and show a video of the beautiful Caribbean wedding. I was able to photograph the event and all it’s excitement. Aren’t they just a beautiful couple?! It was so easy to photograph their love and joy.
